Sara and Jared had a semi-last minute venue change when the downtown Fargo Avalon closed their doors shortly before their wedding. Luckily, Sara’s parents live on a beautiful piece of land just outside of Fargo, where the deer and the antelope roam. Ok, I guess maybe not antelope, but I did see some deer during their engagement session!

Sara and the girls got ready at the Hotel Donaldson downtown, where we did a rooftop first look, then headed over to the venue site (Sara and Jared rented their couch and chairs from the girls over at the White House Co.) After the ceremony (and of course the Sasquatch photos in the woods Sara requested), we stopped downtown for a few more photos, then off to the Avalon for dinner and dancing. Check out the cute deer on their cheesecake! In true animal lover style- the reception featured wood chips with a portrait of their dog, Stoli. Guests were able to choose which animal foundation to donate to but placing their chip in either the box for the Homeward Animal Shelter, or the Central Dakota Humane Society. Roll all those details together and ta-da; there you have one of my very favorite weddings.
